Senior Software Engineer Lead
The rfetechnology team is an aspirational startup based in Dubai which is hiring founding engineers for delivering high performance gaming applications, products, software services. Position is based remotely in India.
What you will be doing
The Senior Software Engineer role is focused around building our early C++ stack,
and is completely a hands-on role. As a senior member of the team you would
commonly be working with a number of junior engineers, as well as other senior
engineers, with a Technical Lead providing support and guidance. As such the role
does involve aspects of design, mentoring, and team leadership, as well as direct
development.
What we are looking for
A solid understanding of C++ backed up with at least 5+ years professional
experience is essential (7+ highly desirable), as is an understanding of
multi-threaded environments, and (at least) a basic understanding of networking.
Experience with at least one cloud provider and working experience with
technologies like Kubernetes is preferred.
Any experience of designing/optimizing for performance is a bonus, as our products must deliver low latency.
Within the rfetechnology team, we adopt an agile culture, and are not rigid in our
development methodology, choosing the right approach to match the tasks at
hand, so experience in a variety of development approaches would be
advantageous.
